Thank you to Louise for your presence, authenticity and heart. It has been such a beautiful experience connecting with you, through The League of Extraordinary Women, and through heart and such aligned passions. I am so blessed to have been a guest speaker for your course and look forward to connecting and sharing more with you in the future. As I said, your ability to be present with people, to connect and listen is such a gift, and you make me and others feel so special and important in the world. THANK YOU!

Hi Anni, thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on transition. It has been a hot topic for me and many of my clients recently. I love the strategy for maintaining what seems to be a very significant transformation for you. I love the way you describe it longitudinally showing us how your reactions and responses changed over time. It's so fascinating that our minds will still resist even after a period of intense acceptance. The old thoughts come around on the merry-go-round again and there is a moment where we could almost let them consume us ... but then we remember all the reasons for making the change and we just watch those thoughts go by. How amazing. Congratulations on your transformation and on sharing it with others. You are wonderful :)

Hi Louise, this is certainly true. After the dawning of a new realisation, I initially felt this huge cathartic sense of relief. Then as i began to live my life in a new way, it was like everything i did i had to re-read - like checking the labels on packets - I was constantly measuring up my reactions to what i actually wanted to be. It was exhausting for the first year. Almost like going through a grieving process - but in a good way. and when my thought patterns reverted, or i came up against old friends or got questioned about my new choices, I just kept saying - thats my old thought patterns, but that's not me now and i didn't beat myself up about it.
